VALIDATION & LIMITATIONS

Clear about what is proven—and what is not.

The scoring logic is tested for technical consistency. Psychometric validity, cross-language equivalence and independent scientific validation requires separate evidence.

Current status

Research version

The current system checks scoring consistency, question counts, result generation and result generation rules. This establishes implementation consistency, not psychometric validity.

Not yet established

  • Representative population norms
  • Test–retest reliability
  • Construct equivalence across languages and age bands
  • Cognitive comprehension with intended Junior and Youth users
  • Predictive validity for voting or political behaviour

Do not overread the result

Scores are indicators generated by the current model. A number such as 61/100 is not a scientific probability that somebody “is” an ideology. Historical reference figures illustrate traditions; they do not imply endorsement or equivalence.

Intended use

This is an educational self-reflection instrument, not a scientifically validated measure of political identity or a voting recommendation.
